Danny Connell, the bassist for the rock band Limp Bizkit, recently made a visit to Hammersmith Tattoo in London to get a new tattoo. Danny was in town as a part of Limp Bizkit's tour, during which he was filling in for Sam Rivers on bass guitar.
Here is official statement from Limp Bizkit:
‘’Some of you wondered and even reached out to us in the past 20 hours and now we got the confirmation for you:
Sam Rivers will NOT be handling bass duties on this tour for undisclosed reasons and we kindly ask you to avoid speculating why.
Please welcome Danny Connell (bassist of the band Jann and friend of the band) to the Limp Bizkit touring family! He will be handling bass duties on this tour.
Quoted him: "EXTREMELY excited and honoured to announce that I'll be playing bass with Limp Bizkit on their upcoming EU/UK tour!"’’
While in London, Danny took some time out of his busy schedule to get a tattoo that was meaningful to him - the album cover of Limp Bizkit's latest album, Still Sucks, on his forearm.
The tattoo was done by Roberts Klamanis @klamanistattoo, a talented artist at Hammersmith Tattoo, who worked closely with Danny to ensure that the design was just right. For Danny, getting the Still Sucks album cover tattooed on his forearm was a way to commemorate his time playing with Limp Bizkit on their latest tour. He was thrilled with the final result of the tattoo, which he proudly showed off on social media to his fans and followers.
